lovely old home, superb large rooms, beautiful location

The layout is confusing!!! More cozy seating areas would enhance the ambiance!!! A heads-up about events could prevent unwelcome surprises!!!

this hotel is homely for biking and has fantastic friendly and excellent staff. the rooms are modern and attractive and complete with well-appointed bathroom and a super comfortable bed. would recomand to anyone.

The hotel exceeded all expectations, I would stay there again. I enjoyed the place, everything was fine. The location in the middle of the city was incredible. Furthermore, the area was very relaxing. I had a beautifully decorated and huge room with a comfortable bed and the garden plus a lovely view. The staff were very very helpful yet not intrusive.

The room I stayed in was really comfy and had a lovely view over the gardens. It felt cozy and cute, perfect for a relaxing stay. Plus, it had that charming country house vibe going on. Only downside was a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too bothersome.

The location is so convenient for mountain biking, right at the trailhead of Mabie Forest. The food was fantastic, especially the evening meal, good and packed with flavor!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but really, you get what you pay for.

Good pick for a quick stop in Dumfries, great for the money. The homemade scones with cream and jam were very nice. If you like dogs, they can stay in your room but not in the dining area.

Amazing place with great amenities like free wi-fi, a lovely bar area, and helpful staff who shared local tips during my first stay. Definitely coming back for a holiday!

Amazing family getaway!

What a lovely spot! We had our pup with us, and the staff were super accommodating. We enjoyed dinner and brekkie in front of a cozy fire, a nice touch. The food was great! Just wish the wifi was a bit stronger, but everything else was a win!
